Check-Up or Diagnostic Package: Which One Do You Need?
Two tools for two different questions
"Is anything wrong anywhere?" and "What exactly is this one thing?" are different medical questions, and using the wrong tool for either wastes money and time. A check-up runs dozens of examinations at screening depth across every organ system. A diagnostic package concentrates specialist consultations, targeted imaging and specific laboratory work on a single clinical question.
The four diagnostic packages
Each package starts with a fixed-price baseline evaluation; advanced tests are added only if the baseline results indicate them — so nobody pays for an MRI or biopsy that was never medically needed.
- Prostate — $261.55 baseline: uro-oncology consultation + total and free PSA; multiparametric MRI, fusion biopsy or PSMA PET/CT only if indicated
- Breast — $470.80 baseline: breast surgery consultation + digital mammography + ultrasound; MRI or biopsy only if indicated
- Gynecology — $352.42 baseline: consultation with ultrasound + Pap smear + HPV DNA test; pelvic MRI, tumour markers or colposcopy only if indicated
- Colon — men $1,784 / women $1,910, all-inclusive: complete 50+ examination diagnostic panel plus gastroscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy under sedation
Speed is part of the design
Diagnostic work-ups elsewhere often stretch across weeks of separate appointments. Here the complete work-up is scheduled and finished within 2–3 days: imaging and PET/CT reports within 24 hours, biopsy (pathology) results within 48, consultations and ultrasound the same day. For a patient carrying a worrying finding, those compressed days matter enormously.
They also work in sequence
The two products are designed to hand off to each other. A check-up that surfaces an elevated PSA or a breast finding flows naturally into the matching diagnostic package for the follow-up. Many international patients book a check-up for themselves and a diagnostic package for a spouse with a known concern — same visit, same coordinator, same 17-language support.
Frequently asked questions
My PSA came back high in a test at home. Which should I book?
The Prostate Diagnostic Package — it is built exactly for that situation, starting with a uro-oncology consultation and full PSA panel, adding MRI or biopsy only if your results indicate.
Is a diagnostic package more thorough than a Premium check-up?
In its one area, yes — it goes deeper than any check-up can. Across the rest of your body, it doesn't look at all. That is the trade-off the choice comes down to.
Can I combine a check-up with a diagnostic package?
Yes, and it is common — either in the same visit or as a follow-up when a check-up finding needs deeper investigation.
Why is the colon package priced differently for women and men?
It includes a complete diagnostic panel alongside the endoscopic procedures, and the women's panel contains additional examinations — hence $1,910 versus $1,784. Both are all-inclusive with no result-dependent add-ons.
